ORNATE x Runspark: Inside Lucknow's Community Run Hosted at The Ornate

Runspark brought a community run through Telibagh on the morning of 6 September, finishing at ORNATE's gate to a crowd of runners, families and first-timers who carried on the morning at Amrkh and Saakiya.

On the morning of 6 September, a different kind of crowd showed up outside ORNATE Lucknow's gate: not a wedding party or a conference group, but a few hundred runners in tracksuits and running shoes, cheering at the finish of a route that had carried them through Telibagh's streets. ORNATE x Runspark paired the property with Runspark's running community for a morning that started with a warm-up in a nearby park and ended, loudly, at ORNATE's own entrance.

How the morning ran

Runners gathered early at a park plaza in Telibagh for a group warm-up and stretch before setting off along the neighbourhood's streets, past the trees, shopfronts and residential blocks that make up the everyday texture of that part of Lucknow. It was a run built for a crowd rather than a competitive field: pace varied widely, phones came out mid-stride, and the energy stayed closer to a community event than a timed race.

The finish at ORNATE's gate

The route ended where it was always going to feel biggest: right outside ORNATE Lucknow's entrance, under the property's own signage, where finishers gathered into a dense, cheering crowd before the doors opened for what came next. From there, the morning moved inside, through Amrkh's entrance and on to Saakiya, where runners who had just finished a route through the neighbourhood sat down to food, drinks and each other's company on the same property.
